 Club House: Welcome

Club House

This is the Home for eClub members.

It consists mostly of information from District and internal documents which are unlikely to be of great interest to people outside the eClub.

Rotary may be an organisation without secrets but not without huge quantities of paper circulated at Rotary Club meetings. The eClub has has converted these documents to recycled electrons for your convenience. No trees were hurt in this process!

 Message from DG Clive Amos

19/09/06

The DG is due to visit the eClub on December 3rd. We hope to run a concurrent B&M & eMeeting side by side.

As with the tradition started last year the DG 'speech' has been posted onsite «here» so you can swot up, be inspired and interrogate Clive on the day

Hi folks, I have been sent a list of all the sports events taking place in this district. Sadly none of them is a virtual event, maybe we need to devise something. It means that it is only feasible for the London-based members to participate if they wish. There will also be the District Quiz. If any one is interested in taking part please let me know as soon as poss.

I shall be attending the RIBI Conference in Belfast.

IS anyone else going? I have been sent form for voting delegates. We are entitled to send two delegates and nominate two deputies. I am happy to represent the club as one of the delegates, if you all agree. Can anyone else serve?

 Group Student Exchange Rally

10/01/06

Dear Fellow Presidents

Please urgently pitch to your members the Bon Voyage Meeting for the District 1130 Outgoing GSE Team which takes place this year at the Rotary Club Of Kensington. Kensington Club can handle last minute bookings by email or by attached booking form. Payment can be made on the night.

This will be the only Presentation by the District 1130 Outgoing 2005/6 Group Study Exchange Team to District 3040, Parts of Madya Pradesh & Gujarat (North West India) and there will be a full rehearsal of the presentations to be made in India.

The meeting takes place 7.00pm for 7.30pm at Jurys Hotel, 109 Queensgate SW7 2AR, on the corner of Queens Gate and Old Brompton Road, near South Kensington tube. This is the only opportunity to see the Team before they leave for India, to learn of their aspirations for the trip and to wish them a successful and beneficial visit.

The meal will be two courses plus coffee at £12. Please let us know if you require a vegetarian meal. Please use the <attached booking form> or email Richard Osband to make reservations.

Best Regards
Richard Osband
President - Rotary Club Of Kensington
