This evening I attended the Bush Hill Park Club as they
were holding the District Quiz heat against Friern Barnet and Whetstone. After
the dinner and before the quiz, President Graham presented me with a gift for
the eCLub. It had been noticed at the Conference in October, that I was the
only Club President without a presidential collar, so the BHP club decided they
would like to buy one for us.
I accepted on your behalf and thanked the members for
their kind thoughts. It will be nice to be able to attend Rotary functions as
our club's representative, wearing the collar, and I am sure future Presidents
will wear it with pride.
BTW The quiz was a close fought contest, and BHP won by
just one point.
